Lepidophobia is an irrational fear of butterflies. I, as many other people, find butterflies very beautiful. Sometimes it's easy to forget about the irrational side of phobia and just wonder why anybody would fear or hate something as vivid, lively and beautiful. I've asked a few people with a fear or disgust towards butterflies to send me a picture of themselves and some words to describe their phobia or hate. This is an ongoing project.
